Prints, Materials, and Framing

All prints are professionally produced using archival materials and industry-standard processes to ensure long-term quality, accurate colour reproduction, and safe delivery. Each piece is printed and finished with care, whether supplied as a fine art paper print, framed artwork, or canvas.

Fine Art Paper

Fine art paper prints are produced on Hahnemühle Photo Rag® 308gsm, a premium, museum-grade paper made from 100% cotton. This paper is highly regarded for its archival qualities and its ability to reproduce fine detail with smooth tonal transitions.

The surface has a soft, lightly textured, matte finish that minimises glare while preserving sharpness and depth. It is well suited to both monochrome and colour photography.

All fine art paper prints include a clean white border. The border provides visual separation between the artwork and its surroundings and makes the print suitable for framing or mounting. Borders are printed as part of the artwork itself; mat boards are not used.

Unframed — Rolled (Fine Art Paper)

Unframed fine art prints are supplied rolled and carefully packaged in a rigid protective tube. This option is ideal for collectors who wish to arrange their own framing or mounting.

The size listed on each product page refers to the printed image size. The white border is included in addition to the image.

Framed Fine Art Prints

Framed fine art prints are presented in Australian hardwood frames made from Victorian Ash, a durable and sustainably sourced timber. Victorian Ash is sometimes referred to as Tasmanian Oak, with the distinction relating only to the source location of the timber.

Each frame is fitted with museum-grade acrylic glazing (Plexiglass). Acrylic glazing is visually comparable to traditional glass but is significantly lighter and far more resistant to breakage, making it ideal for both longevity and transport.

Classic Frame

The Classic Frame is a simple, elegant profile designed to suit a wide range of interiors. It measures approximately 40mm wide by 35mm deep, providing a balanced and substantial presence without overpowering the artwork.

Final framed dimensions will vary slightly depending on the print size and border proportions. Please allow for a small tolerance when measuring wall space.

All framed works are supplied ready to hang using an appropriate hanging system based on the size and weight of the frame.

Canvas Prints

Canvas prints are produced on Epson Eclipse Premium Satin Canvas (420gsm) and finished with an archival UV-protective lacquer. This combination provides excellent colour vibrancy, contrast, and durability.

The lacquered satin surface offers a subtle sheen that enhances depth without appearing overly glossy. Unlike untreated canvas, the surface is smooth and continuous, while still retaining the character of the canvas beneath.

Unframed — Rolled Canvas

Rolled canvas prints are supplied unstretched and packaged in a protective tube. They are intended to be stretched by a professional framer after delivery.

All rolled canvases are printed with a mirror wrap. This means the main image ends at the edge of the canvas, and the sides to be wrapped around the frame are mirrored extensions of the image. This allows the artwork to be stretched cleanly without cropping important details.

The size listed on the product page refers to the main image size. Additional canvas is included around the edges to allow for stretching.

Stretched Canvas

Stretched canvas prints are professionally mounted over a timber frame and arrive ready to hang. The canvas wraps around the sides of the frame using a mirror wrap, maintaining a clean, continuous appearance.

Stretched canvases have a depth of approximately 40mm, giving the artwork a strong, contemporary presence on the wall.

Stretched Canvas with Profile Frame

This option adds a slim external profile frame around a stretched canvas, creating a refined, gallery-style finish.

The profile frame is approximately 10mm wide and 55mm deep, and increases the overall dimensions of the artwork by around 20–30mm. The frame sits around the canvas without glass or a border.

Profile frames are available in White, Raw Oak, and Black.
