The People

MK2 Photos is the work of two brothers, Milo and Reuben Kern.

It started the way most things do: borrowing our dad's camera without really knowing what we were doing. What we were looking for, we couldn't have told you then. But somewhere between that first shot and the ones we're making now, photography became the lens through which we make sense of the world.

Over the past few years, we've taken that curiosity across continents, through the volcanic landscapes of Iceland, the sun-bleached coastlines of Portugal, the ancient architecture of Türkiye, and the quieter corners of places most people pass through without stopping. We're drawn to the moments that don't announce themselves. The light that lasts thirty seconds. The frame that only exists because you were patient enough to wait for it.

Every image in the MK2 collection is shot, edited, and prepared for print entirely by us. No outsourcing, no shortcuts. When an order goes out, it's been personally overseen from capture to the frame on your wall, printed and framed right here in Perth, WA, using archival materials built to last.

We started MK2 because we wanted a home for this work. A place to build something considered and lasting, rather than scroll-and-forget. The collections will keep growing as we keep travelling, new locations, new light, new perspectives we haven't found yet.
